Releasing Held Tension is a body-centered sound bath created for the places where
stress quietly lives — the jaw that won’t unclench, the shoulders that stay lifted, the
breath that never quite drops. Through grounding, low-frequency tones and slow,
intentional pacing, the nervous system is invited to settle out of vigilance and into safety.
As sound moves through the body, muscles are gently encouraged to soften, allowing
long-held patterns of tension to loosen without force or effort.
Rather than asking you to relax, this experience allows relaxation to happen naturally as
the body remembers it no longer needs to brace or hold. Many people notice a sense of
physical ease spreading gradually — a deeper breath, a heavier rest, a subtle feeling of
being supported from within. You’ll leave feeling more inhabiting of your body, steadier
in yourself, and quietly relieved, as if something you didn’t realize you were carrying has
finally been set down.
What to bring: mat, pillow, blanket (whatever you need for your comfort), pen/pencil
What is a sound bath & meditation?
A Sound Bath & Meditation is a deeply immersive experience that combines guided meditation with the healing vibrations of sound. Instead of trying to quiet your mind on your own, the tones of instruments such as Tibetan and crystal singing bowls create a soothing atmosphere that helps your nervous system relax, your breath deepen, and your awareness open. Each session is shaped around a theme, weaving words and frequencies together to support emotional healing, clarity, and balance. There’s nothing you need to do but lie back, listen, and allow the sound to wash over you—carrying you into a state of calm presence and renewal.
